Sports Massage That Comes to Your Training
Recovery work for runners, lifters and anyone who trains hard
Kimberly has worked on professional athletes in Las Vegas and marathon runners in Atlanta. Sports massage at home means you recover where you rest, with no drive across town on tired legs.
Built Around Your Training
Sports massage is organised around what you ask your body to do. A half-marathon runner in the last weeks before race day needs different work from a lifter in a heavy block or a tennis player with one shoulder that does all the work. Kimberly asks about your schedule first, then plans the session around it: lighter flushing work close to an event, deeper restorative work in a recovery week.
The techniques draw from deep tissue, assisted stretching, trigger point work and myofascial release. The aim is simple: muscles that move through their full range, recover faster between sessions and are less likely to pick up the small injuries that turn into long layoffs.

Who Books Sports Massage
Runners and cyclists
Calves, hamstrings, hip flexors and IT bands that tighten with mileage. Pre-race flush or post-race recovery, timed to your plan.
Strength and CrossFit
Shoulders, lats, glutes and quads under heavy load. Range-of-motion work that makes the next session feel better, not worse.
Weekend athletes
Tennis, golf, pickleball, rec league. The sports where one side of the body does most of the work and the other side quietly complains.
What a Session Looks Like
Training check-in
Where you are in your season, what hurts, what is coming up. The session is planned around that rather than a fixed routine.
Targeted work
Focused time on the muscle groups your sport loads most, with assisted stretching to restore range where it has been lost.
Taping and advice
Kinesiology taping for support between sessions if useful, plus a couple of things to do at home that actually help.
Sports Massage FAQ
Three to five days before an event is ideal for lighter, flushing work that leaves you loose without feeling drained. Deeper work belongs in the days after, once the soreness has peaked. If you are mid-season, every two to four weeks keeps things moving.
Soft-tissue strains, tightness and overuse patterns respond well. Anything acute, swollen or recently diagnosed should be cleared by your doctor or physio first, and Kimberly will work alongside their plan rather than around it.
Yes, for small groups at a home, event or training location. Get in touch through the contact page with numbers and timing and Kimberly will put together a plan.
Taping is a $30 add-on applied at the end of the session, so the support stays on for several days after.
